Turtles and dolphins and fish, oh my! Paddle out with your own eco-aware guide on a five-hour kayaking and snorkeling trip you'll never forget. At the aptly named Turtle Town, you'll find green sea turtles galore, in addition to sporadic dolphin sightings, and of course more beautiful tropical fish than you can imagine. Spinner dolphins call this area off the shores of Maui home, and occasionally grace lucky travelers with their incredible moves. With your head underwater, you can even hear them talk.

Snorkeling through Skylight Cave, you'll find a treasure trove of arching passageways, remnants of the volcanic activity that created the islands. Speaking of volcanoes, you'll travel next along the Pu'uolai coastline, a historic area named for Pu'u Olai, or Red Hill, a 360-foot dormant cinder cone near Makena. In the waters along the Pu'uolai coast, you'll see a vast array of marine life as you snorkel over amazing coral reefs. These living monuments are endangered the world over, and environmentally sensitive tour companies like Maui Kayaks do much to raise awareness about the reefs, as well as allow you to witness their spectacular beauty.
