Maui Spectacular Helicopter Tour

This air and ground trip shows you the spectacular sights of Maui. In the air, you will enjoy the view from the comfort and spaciousness of our Eco-Star helicopter. On land, you'll be able to relax and enjoy refreshments in sight of the Haleakala Crater.

This tour will take you all around Maui. On the northwestern tip of Maui, you will see the West Maui Mountains. The mountains are the remains of an eroded volcano. You will see drastic cliffs, running waterfalls, and lush rainforests in West Maui. The tall peaks of the mountains extend up into the clouds. Along the coast, the green slopes taper off into the beautiful blue Pacific Ocean.
We will stop at Ulupalakua Ranch on the edge of the Haleakala Crater. The ranch sits at an elevation of just under two thousand feet. It is home to a sprawling twenty-thousand-acre cattle ranch that is used to preserve the open spaces and agriculture of southwestern Maui. As you take in the beautiful scenery, you will enjoy refreshments. This is also a great time for ground-level photography.

Back up in the area, you will see more of Haleakala Crater. The crater is seven miles across, two miles wide, and two thousand six hundred feet deep. It is believed in Hawaiian lore to be the home of the grandmother of the demigod Maui. She, it is said, helped Maui capture the sun and slow its path down so that the days on the island would be longer. The crater features a variety of landscapes. A once-active volcano, Haleakala includes vast areas of grey volcanic rock. But it is also home to a verdant rainforest. The trip will include a fly over the quaint town of Hana and the rugged north shore of Maui.
